Black synthetic felt backing, 3mm (1/8") thick with a peel and stick pressure sensitive adhesive backing. Adheres great to clean slate and other nonporous materials. Available in a standard size of 3 3/4" (95mm) diameter round (used with 4" round coasters) or 3 3/4" (95mm) square with a rounded corner (used with 4" square coasters). With either the round or square option, it leaves about 1/8" (2.5mm) of the backside of the coaster exposed on a 4" (100mm) coaster.
As an alternative to a solid backing these are also available with a window cutout which allows for the backside of an item to be displayed while still gaining the benefit of the felt backing. Available in standard sizes of 1.75" (45mm) and 2.25" (57mm). The cutout area is the same shape as the outer shape of the felt backing.
