Slate Coaster with a cleft (chipped) edge. This is a natural product, black in color, with variations in thickness ranging from 1/8" - 3/16". As with any natural product, no two items will every be identical in regard to the surface texture or edge detailing. The slate for this coaster is 100% MADE IN AMERICA, both quarried and crafted.
A black felt backing is applied to each coaster that covers a majority of the backside. The felt backing provides more stability, surface protection and adds to the overall aesthetics of the finished product.
