Set of 4 Slate Coaster with a cleft (chipped) edge. This is a natural product, black in color, with variations in thickness ranging from 1/8" - 3/16". As with any natural product, no two items will ever be identical in regard to the surface texture or edge detailing. The slate for this coaster is 100% MADE IN AMERICA, both quarried and crafted.
A black felt backing is applied to each coaster that covers a majority of the backside. We feel that this backing is far superior to the four rubber feet you find on the majority of coasters imported from China. The felt backing provides more stability, surface protection and add to the overall aesthetics of the finished product.
If a brand mark is requested, a window will be cutout for the mark. Two size options are available for the window and the brand mark will be sized proportionate to the window. The framed effect of the cutout yields a more elegant and finished appearance.
